Project Details

This project involved the delivery of all form, reinforcement, and pour works for the upgrade of the Coombabah Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), including excavation and preparation for mechanical services.

Key elements included construction of large-scale base slabs, retaining walls exceeding 5 metres in height, and complex concrete structures with curved benching in both horizontal and vertical planes. A sacrificial Styrofoam system was used to achieve the intricate tank benching geometry. Tight tolerances around mechanical service interfaces required precise execution and coordination.

Extensive civil works were also undertaken, including detailed excavation for structural foundations, backfilling, and preparation for service installation. Works required coordination with multiple contractors and strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

This project highlights strong capabilities in delivering complex concrete infrastructure, managing large-scale civil scopes, and integrating structural works within multi-disciplinary infrastructure environments.
