Cost-Plus, Resource Supply
As part of the Cooroy to Curra upgrade, Hawthorne Civil provided labour hire and construction support services for FRP works across three bridge structures and associated retaining walls.
Operating under a cost-plus arrangement, Hawthorne Civil rapidly mobilised a skilled workforce of up to 70 personnel, including formworkers, steel fixers, concreters, supervisors, leading hands and engineers. Crews were deployed on a rotational basis to remote locations, with accommodation and logistics managed to ensure workforce continuity and program reliability.
In addition to labour, Hawthorne Civil supplied earthmoving plant, cranage and formwork materials, enabling seamless integration into the principal contractor’s delivery program. The provision of a consistent, high-performing workforce and supporting resources contributed to the safe and timely delivery of key bridge and retaining wall structures.
